Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $55.00 to $60.00 /hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions on Hadoop environment.
  • Build workflows covering source code development through go-live.
  • Test submitted software changes prior to production rollouts.
  • Develop, execute and document unit test plans and support application testing.
  • Assist in the deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment.
  • Provide operational and production support for applications and utilities.
  • Tackle issues and participate in defect and incident root cause analyses.
Requirements:
  • Must have a strong knowledge of Java and Hadoop programming experience.
  • Experience with Java EE, JMS, Hibernate, Spring, Junit preferred.
  • Eager to learn new technologies such as Cassandra, Solr, Jenkins, etc.
  • Interested in technologies/techniques like data mining, machine learning, clustering/tag clouds, etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL data stores.
  • Experience with big data and data analysis.
